A little bit of sweet, a little bit of spicy, a little bit of heaven. After perfecting their recipe, Playground’s Fried Chicken (PFC) has become one of our most favorite dishes these days. Choose from either a 2, 4, or 8 piece meal, oh, and don’t forget to load up on napkins!
You can choose from either a chicken (pictured), veggie or Wagyu (beef) bowl. Watch out–It’s got a nice little kick towards the end!

The 4th Street Market opened to the public yesterday with an amazing turnout. We did a brief walk-through and it was pretty crowded–especially for a Monday night.
Paninoteca Maggio (next to Little Sparrow) on Main and 3rd opens on Thursday, though if stop by this week (until Thursday) between 6am and 9am, you’ll be treated to a free cup of coffee.
And finally, Wursthaus is set to open their doors this Friday (02/20), with a grand opening slated for Saturday, March 7th as to coincide with the monthly Downtown Santa Ana Artwalk.
These bad boys arrived yesterday fresh off the press and are set to be distributed all over Santa Ana, as well as Orange County.
With new restaurants opening up every few weeks in DTSA, this pamphlet is sure to grow into a book!

Here’s how it works: on Thursday, February 12th from 5pm-9pm, $10 gets your five tastings at your choice of over 25 distinctive restaurants and artisanal food producers in DTSA!
Your tastings will occur at many different restaurants that you will walk around to. If you want to be whisked to the next location, hop on to our free historic “Our Town Trolley” for a tasty trip to your next destination.

The 4th Street Market will be open 7 days a week from 7am to 10pm.
